Looked out the window, and it's raining.
Dammit. No wonder it was actually warm last night.
Time to go get one of those bicycle cover things. At least the bike's under some overhang now.
Guess I should go brush my teeth and stuff...can't bike today.
PFFFF... You can still bike. I know I did... Though, around 2 it was really pouring and I found some broken discarded umbrella to use for a bit until I had to go home at 5 (When it wasn't raining anymore). Yea, rain sucks though. I STILL don't have one of those ummm guard thingies for the tires so you don't splash water everywhere. I always get really wet from my front tire :-(
ReplyDelete"around 2" was when I had to go to class...
ReplyDeleteUm fenders? why don't you just go buy them at the bike barn? They sell front+back fenders for $20...though it's +$10 if you want them to put them on for you...took me 1.5hrs to put the things on...
I've seen special tires (for cars, at least) that work well even in rain and puddles. Something about the grooves in the rubber that channel the water and prevent slipping and splashing. Probably expensive though. There are also raincoats that cover both rider and bike, to keep you extra dry. Might be troublesome if you're wearing a backpack, though.
