NARUTO Chapter 249
AHH! NOOOOO! Gaa-chan lost to "un"-san! ("un"-san because he/she always says "un" after every sentence....) Great to see Gaa-chan being respected and has been inspired by Na-chan~ Though, that monologue-ish dialogue with Kankurou is the most I've seen Gaa-chan talk, LoL. So maybe Gaa-chan is not such a creepy non-talkative guy that, not only has a bad relationship with his siblings, but also will kill anyone in sight, huh! Gaa-chan is much more lovable now ^^;;
Kankurou...hasn't change drastically since the last time we saw him, yes? (He still has that body suit with ears, LoL...and he's what, sixteen?!)

NARUTO on Toonami Summer 2005
NARUTO? On Toonami??
fuck.
Have those blockheads figured out that anime are not all for 'kids' and that there is a huge market of 12+ beings hogging the fandom? Or that NARUTO is not a 'kid's show' in general?! That showing it on Toonami is disemboweling the series? That Naruto and Sasuke and Sakura and Kakashi and Iruka and Itachi and Jiraiya and Tsunade and...(the rest cut off) deserves better than that?!
No. Apparently not. And I thought it being licensed is bad enough.

Honestly, do they think it's because only children that age watch anime? No! The others don't because they are old enough to know the good stuff that were cut out or ruined in the dub! The older knows where to find and buy the good stuff, so they don't watch the censored ones with brain-washing commercials or participate in those childish contests! It's because they don't have the time to come home at three-thirty exactly to turn on the tv or has nothing to do but to catch the eight 'o Clock new episode on a Saturday morning! It's because the 2 to 11-year-olds are just starting to have anime introduced to them! They don't know the difference between anime and cartoon, they just know that it's show for kids! They like it because it's GAG! But Naruto is really much more than GAG. It's Disney without sexism, Superman with a plot, and Pixar in a series! Please, Stick to kid's shows if your audience are kids! Don't try censoring a more mature show to get younger audiences just because the company likes the series and ruin everything for all of your other fans. You already have a bad reputation as English dubbers. Don't worsen your reputation further by dubbing something not meant to be translated into English. NARUTO has too many Japanese Culture-related inferences that, once translated into English, will either sound bad or make no sense at all!
Naruto: Twelve years ago, a nasty demon decimated a village but was contained in a baby who is now a student at a ninja academy. But this antisocial boy does not know that he is possessed. As he evolves as a ninja, his inner demon gives him more and more powers. To become a master ninja, he must learn to control his powers without destroying those around him.
I teared when I saw this. Really. Like, What the Fuck?! Know the series before you type any summaries, you bastards. Even watching the first episode will tell you that "this antisocial boy" that you speak of is not Naruto. And dude, that's not the story. He doesn't try to control his powers because Kyuubi's powers will destroy everything, dammit. Are they on crack when they did this or are they this unprofessional?
I am, quite frankly, more than disappointed.

A day late, but happy new year. Um. I left robotics and konked out for two hours before I was awaken for dinner. Yes.
Almost finished with taking robotics people's pictures...had to force some to take theirs, but honestly I like theirs best. ^^
Tomorrow's Friday, w00t! Maybe I'll get to play a little FFX-2! Ah, and today's Ryan Brenner's birthday...how interesting...isn't Salone's birthday today also? Oops, forgot to say happy birthday, though I saw her in the USABO test thing. Which, going off in a tangent, I'll be happy if I got a 10 out of 50 questions in that test. Today's a good day, methinks. Probably because I got semblance of enough sleep.
I haven't watched the last two episodes of NARUTO and Bleach...in addition to Eddie's Gundam Seed's.
I'll probably do a Chapter 247 review, but let me say this: Gaara's hot. LoL.
That reminds me: I thought I'd never hear Asaf describing another human being as 'hot,' but I heard it today...o___O;;

NARUTO Chapter 246

245 & 246 seems more like a prologue to Part 2, and I do hope that Kishimoto will pick up with more character depth that sets his style apart [from other shounen mangaka]. As much as the bell training seems...strange, short, and not up to par with other arcs, Naruto and Sakura's growth are really natural, and, well, as I've been saying, it seems like it's still trying to pick up its momentum after the evident pause.
Since everything will start happening again in half a year or so, I don't expect only NaruSaku for long...afterall, because Sasuke is a huge part of Naruto's life (whether as a couple or no), I don't think Kishimoto will just cut Sasuke out as just another bad guy, thus my anticipation of Sasuke's appearence soon. (Killing Sasuke's character will just not do: fans like him too much, and so does Kishimoto ^^)
So...it's going to be Sannin but better, eh? Since as some fellow SasuNaru fan pointed out, "Orochimaru and Jiraiya were rivals, but never friends. Sasuke and Naruto are good friends, and that could change everything."
Oh, by the way: Silly Kakashi...
