Hehe, I had forgotten about that. I dled the first two episodes, and skimmed through the first one looking for a mech fight. I guess not finding one made me disillusioned and I gave up.

Lol, it's not so much actively giving up, more just not being motivated enough to watch the rest of it. Especially since it downloads in like 10 min, compared to <1 min for average episode of Naruto or Bleach.
ReplyDeleteEvangelion was ok, the philosophy was not...overly wrong or boring or offensive or anything, just...misplaced. If I see giant robots on the poster/box cover/trailer, I expect to see them FIGHT!

Unlike Evangelion, which sorta stuffed all the philosophy in the last few episodes, Fafner has it more integrated. Seriously though. the first seven or so episodes are kinda dull, but it's impossible to watch the later episodes without getting majorly spoiled...SIGH.
And in that case you know what the correct response is? Watch something else. :D
