With lesser amounts of useless(?) smilies and...well, I can argue, but maybe it's all in my head. Actually, I began the blog in mostly crazy (fan) girl/chat talk, then forced myself to blog with grammar and punctuation and vocabulary in mind in a(n futile?) attempt to improve my writing, then lastly giving up and just blog vernacularly, with no intented formality.
Stream-of-consciousness is not necessarily bad writing, just look at Joyce or Woolf...it doesn't have to be all elegant and flowery like Atlantic Monthly's high-class stuff to be effective. It's usually better to develop a style of your own so you can communicate your own ideas better anyway. But using spelling and grammar is usually a good idea. Unless you're trying to make a point. Reference my own xanga.
Lol, you sound exactly the same.
